Exhibition Stall Fabrication in Dubai

Exhibition stall and stand fabrication from our own Dubai workshop — carpentry, metalwork, large-format print, electrical and AV under one roof, so quality and timelines stay in our control, not a sub-contractor’s.

Fabrication is where stands are won or lost

Design gets the credit, but fabrication is where a stand actually succeeds or fails. A clean render means nothing if the joinery is rough, the print is dull or the structure flexes. SOL Dubai fabricates in our own Dubai workshop, so the finish you see on the floor is one we engineered and quality-checked, not one we hoped a sub-contractor would deliver.

Owning the workshop means owning every trade that goes into a stall: precision carpentry and joinery for walls, counters and furniture; metalwork for structures, rigging and double-deck frames; large-format printing and graphics for lightboxes, vinyl and fabric; and electrical and AV integration for lighting and live displays. They happen in one building, to one standard.

It also means we can take on urgent timelines that trading companies cannot. When our own capacity is ours to schedule, a last-minute change is re-cut and re-printed overnight rather than queued behind another firm’s jobs. That control is the real product of in-house fabrication.

Fabrication quality also shows up in the details visitors never consciously notice but always feel: edges that are clean rather than chipped, panels that sit flush rather than gapped, paint and print that match across surfaces, and a structure that feels solid rather than temporary when someone leans on the counter. Those details come from skilled trades working to one standard in one workshop, with time to finish properly. They are the first thing sacrificed when a build is sub-let, rushed and squeezed for margin — and the clearest signal, on the floor, of whether a stand was truly built or merely assembled.

What We Build

What our Dubai workshop produces

Every trade that goes into an exhibition stall, under one roof and one quality standard.

Carpentry & joinery

Walls, counters, raised floors, storage and bespoke furniture, finished to a clean, premium standard.

Metalwork & structures

Rigging, hanging banners, double-deck frames and engineered structures, certified where required.

Large-format print

Backlit lightboxes, vinyl, fabric graphics and signage produced and colour-matched in-house.

Electrical & AV

Lighting schemes, screens, demo bars and live product displays wired and integrated.

Flooring & finishes

Raised platforms, carpet, vinyl and premium surface finishes fitted to spec.

Pre-build assembly

Larger stalls are assembled and checked in the workshop before they ship.

How It Works

From drawings to a finished stall

A controlled production path that keeps quality and timeline in our hands from cut to install.

  1. Brief & concept — we learn your show, space, goals and budget, then return a 3D concept and an itemised fixed quotation within 48–72 working hours.
  2. Design & approval — we refine the 3D design with you, then prepare the structural drawings and the approval documents your venue requires.
  3. In-house fabrication — carpentry, metalwork, printing, graphics and electrics are produced in our Dubai workshop under one quality standard.
  4. Pre-build check — larger stands are assembled and reviewed before they ship, so what you approved on screen is what arrives at the hall.
  5. Installation — our crew installs during the venue build-up window and a supervisor signs the stand off ready for your team.
  6. On-site & teardown — a supervisor stays through every show day for touch-ups and changes, then manages dismantling and optional storage.
Why SOL Dubai

In-house fabrication vs. trading and sub-letting

Many Dubai stand companies do not fabricate at all — they win the job and sub-let it to a third-party workshop. The exhibitor never knows who actually builds the stall, the quality varies, and there is no recovery capacity when a deadline slips. SOL Dubai is a builder, not a trader.

Because the workshop is ours, three things follow that a sub-letting firm cannot promise. Quality is consistent, because the same team controls every cut, print and weld. Cost is leaner, because no middle-man margin is stacked on the build. And urgent work is possible, because our own capacity can be scheduled around your deadline instead of someone else’s.

For exhibitors, that is the difference between hoping a stall comes together and knowing it will — and being able to see it pre-assembled before it ever reaches the hall.

Insider Tips

Getting fabrication right

01

Ask to see the workshop

Any genuine fabricator can show you their facility. If a company cannot, they are probably trading and sub-letting your build.

02

Lock the design before fabrication

Changes during production cost most. Sign off the design and drawings first, then let the workshop run clean.

03

Plan for a pre-build check

For larger stalls, a workshop pre-assembly catches issues before the hall, where fixing them is slow and expensive.

04

Build reusable where you repeat

If you exhibit often, fabricate modular elements that travel and refresh, rather than building from scratch each show.

Experience

Fabrication for Dubai’s major shows

We produce stalls for the region’s biggest exhibitions to each venue’s technical standard.

Our workshop fabricates stalls for GITEX Global, Gulfood, Arab Health (WHX), Big 5 Global, Beautyworld Middle East and Intersec, at Dubai World Trade Centre, Expo City Dubai and Expo Centre Sharjah. Every build is engineered and finished to the venue’s technical and safety requirements.

Our workshop output covers the full range of show sectors and stand types, from a compact sector-show stall to a flagship island build, and we hold the materials, machinery and trades in-house to switch between them without sub-letting. That breadth is what lets us keep quality consistent whatever your stand demands.

FAQ

Stall fabrication questions

Do you have your own fabrication workshop in Dubai?
Yes. SOL Dubai runs a fully owned Dubai workshop covering carpentry, metalwork, print, electrical and AV. We fabricate in-house rather than sub-letting to a third party.
How much does stall fabrication cost in Dubai?
Builds start at AED 950/sqm for modular and AED 1,650/sqm for custom fabrication, with premium and double-decker tiers above. We provide a fixed itemised quote with a free 3D concept.
Can you fabricate from our design or drawings?
Yes. We fabricate to your existing design or drawings, value-engineer them for buildability and the venue, and produce the stall in our workshop.
Can you handle urgent fabrication timelines?
Yes. Because our workshop capacity is ours to schedule, we can take on urgent builds and overnight changes that trading-only firms cannot.
What materials do you fabricate in?
Aluminium and steel framing, timber and MDF joinery, fabric and rigid print, acrylic, glass and premium surface finishes, with LED lighting throughout.
Do you pre-assemble stalls before the show?
Yes. Larger stalls are assembled and quality-checked in the workshop before they ship, so issues are caught before the hall.
Do you fabricate reusable modular stalls?
Yes. We build modular elements designed to travel between shows and refresh with new graphics, which is more economical for frequent exhibitors.
