Middle East Games Con 2027 at a glance

Middle East Games Con is the region's largest dedicated gaming festival, held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi as part of the emirate's wider games and pop-culture programming. The 2026 edition ran 18–20 April, drawing around 18,000 visitors; the format and co-location have evolved between editions, so the exact 2027 dates and structure should be confirmed with the organiser.

The festival brings together gamers, esports professionals, developers and pop-culture fans for console, PC and mobile tournaments, game launches and demos, hardware showcases from brands such as PlayStation, Nintendo, ASUS ROG and Logitech, an Indie Zone for local talent, cosplay, VR experiences and creator panels. Its audience is large, young and highly engaged.

This is a high-energy consumer festival in Abu Dhabi, and stands have to match that energy and invite interaction. SOL Dubai builds across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, designing Games Con stands that draw crowds in with full in-house control of design, fabrication and the cross-emirate build.

What a Middle East Games Con stand has to do

This is a consumer festival, and the stand has to pull in a young, enthusiastic crowd. Whether you are showing a game, hardware or a brand, the stand has to let people play — hands-on stations, big screens, esports staging — and project the energy and spectacle the audience comes for. Photo and content moments matter, because attendees share their experience widely.

Durability and flow are critical: with high footfall and constant hands-on use, the stand has to withstand the crowd and keep people moving safely between stations. The strongest Games Con stands combine playable, interactive zones with bold, shareable spectacle. We design for both the play and the energy.

Our Middle East Games Con stand build process

Every Abu Dhabi project runs through our disciplined eight-stage process, handled start to finish in-house:

  1. Discovery and brief — we map your games and hardware, the number of play stations, screen, esports and AV needs, photo and brand moments and budget, and confirm your space and dimensions at ADNEC.
  2. Concept and 3D design — photorealistic visuals and a floor plan balancing interactive play, screens, spectacle and safe crowd flow.
  3. Costing and approval — a fixed, fully itemised quotation covering structure, power, AV and cross-emirate logistics.
  4. Venue approvals and technical drawings — structural and electrical submissions prepared for ADNEC approval.
  5. Fabrication — structure, play stations, screen and esports staging and branding built and quality-checked in our own workshop.
  6. Pre-build and QA — trial assembly, AV and gaming-station integration and testing before transport.
  7. On-site installation — supervised build at ADNEC during official build-up, handed over show-ready.
  8. Show-day support and dismantling — standby team on call in Abu Dhabi, then clean dismantling and clearance.

Materials and construction

Consumer gaming stands are built for interaction, spectacle and durability. We build play and demo stations with correctly rated power and data for gaming PCs, consoles and screens; large-format LED and screen walls, and esports or stage staging where needed; and bold, dynamic branding with dramatic lighting that creates the energy and shareable moments the audience expects.

Everything is engineered for high footfall and constant hands-on use, with robust, durable finishes and safe, clear circulation between stations. Raised platform flooring conceals the heavy power and data cabling many stations generate, and feature and photo moments are built in to drive the social sharing that amplifies a consumer-festival presence.

Gaming-festival stand requirements

Games Con exhibitors carry distinctive needs: interactive play stations with the power and data many machines require; large screens, LED and sometimes esports staging; bold, high-energy branding and shareable photo moments; and robust construction with safe crowd flow for a high-footfall consumer festival. The tone is spectacle and engagement, not corporate restraint.

We design for all of it — powered play stations, screen and esports staging, energetic branding and durable, crowd-safe construction — and as a Dubai builder, we handle the ADNEC approval and cross-emirate logistics an Abu Dhabi build requires. The result is a stand that draws the crowd in and keeps them engaged and sharing.

Stand options and pricing

We build every Middle East Games Con format. Compact stands give smaller studios and brands a play station, a screen and a photo moment. Custom stands give publishers, platforms and hardware brands a bespoke, high-energy layout with multiple play stations, screen walls and feature spectacle. Larger builds and pavilions suit major brands wanting extensive interactive zones, esports staging and standout presence on the festival floor.

Custom Middle East Games Con stand design and build starts from AED 1,650 per square metre, with the final figure shaped by the number of play stations and screens, esports and feature staging, AV, size, cross-emirate logistics and branding. Every quotation is fixed and itemised, and full-service delivery gives you one accountable team handling design, build and the Abu Dhabi logistics from concept through dismantling.

Why games brands choose SOL Dubai for Abu Dhabi

We are a UAE exhibition stand builder that designs and builds across the Emirates, including Abu Dhabi, handling ADNEC stands start to finish — design, fabrication, the venue approval process, cross-emirate logistics and on-site installation. Interactive, high-energy, screen-heavy consumer gaming stands built for crowds are exactly the kind of work our in-house team is set up for.

Clients get in-house build quality, a single accountable team, and a price that holds from quotation to final invoice. For publishers, studios, platforms and hardware brands at the region's largest gaming festival, our local presence and full-service control keep a high-energy, crowd-ready build predictable and on budget.

Building at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi: the rules that shape your Middle East Games Con 2027 stand

Middle East Games Con 2027 is held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, and ADNEC runs its own technical framework — the Abu Dhabi Municipality Code of Construction Safety Practice and OSHAD — separate from Dubai’s. Materials and approvals that pass at DWTC aren’t automatically valid here, so we design and certify to ADNEC’s rules from the first sketch.

Approval framework

Stands must comply with ADNEC’s Rules & Regulations, the Abu Dhabi Municipality construction-safety code and OSHAD. We prepare the drawings and obtain the approvals before build-up.

Complex structures

ADNEC treats anything over 4m, double-decker, or with a platform of 600mm or more — or any non-standard design — as a complex structure needing engineer-stamped structural calculations and approval before build.

Double-deckers

A two-storey stand needs certified structural calculations, a displayed maximum-occupancy figure, a health-and-safety plan and code-compliant staircases. ADNEC’s main halls run to around 18m clear, so tall feature builds are possible with the right sign-off.

Fire-rated materials

All materials must be fire-rated to UAE standards, and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence inspects on site. We certify materials and complete finishes in our workshop, so the on-site crew assembles rather than fabricates.

Electrical, rigging & loads

Rigging and hanging loads, floor-load capacities and electrical supply are all controlled and ordered through ADNEC’s systems ahead of tenancy. We design within the limits and order it for you.

Contractor registration

ADNEC has its own contractor-registration system, separate from DWTC, and PPE is mandatory. We carry the accreditation and handle the registration.

Deadlines

Structural, electrical and rigging submissions run weeks ahead of build-up and late orders are surcharged. We lock your window and order venue services at the advance rate.

01

ADNEC is its own framework

Materials and approvals that pass at DWTC aren’t automatically valid at ADNEC, so we re-certify to the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code and OSHAD rather than assuming a Dubai stand will clear as-is.

02

Know what counts as complex

ADNEC treats anything over 4m, double-decker, or with a platform of 600mm or more as complex, needing engineer-stamped calculations before build. We flag it at design stage so the structural file is ready, not a surprise.

03

Civil Defence inspects on site

Abu Dhabi Civil Defence inspects during build-up, so we complete and inspect finishes in our workshop and the on-site crew assembles an approved build.

04

Use the height — with sign-off

ADNEC’s main halls run to around 18m clear, so tall feature builds and double-deckers are possible. We design them in from the first sketch with the structural sign-off built into the timeline.

Common mistakes, in order of frequency

  1. An oversized logo on the back wall that crowds out the one-line proposition a buyer reads in three seconds.
  2. The same graphic on the front and side panels of an inline stand — the aisle-facing side panel is your most wasted surface.
  3. A counter or sign at the very front that blocks the sightline into the stand and stops buyers stepping in.
  4. Under-ordering power — no 24-hour supply for fridges, screens or live demos, so the stand isn’t ready on opening morning.
  5. Leaving structural, rigging and electrical orders until after the venue deadlines and paying avoidable surcharges.

When and where is Middle East Games Con 2027?
Middle East Games Con is the region's largest dedicated gaming festival, held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi as part of the emirate's wider games and pop-culture programming. The 2026 edition ran from 18 to 20 April, drawing around 18,000 visitors. Because the festival's format and co-location have evolved between editions, we recommend confirming the exact 2027 dates and structure with the organiser. It features console, PC and mobile tournaments, game launches and demos, hardware showcases, an Indie Zone, cosplay, VR experiences and creator panels. As a Dubai-based builder, SOL Dubai builds at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi and handles the cross-emirate logistics and venue approvals for you.
Can you build interactive, crowd-ready gaming stands?
Yes — it is central to a Games Con stand, which is a consumer festival environment. We build play and demo stations with the correctly rated power and data that gaming PCs, consoles and screens need, integrate large-format LED, screen walls and esports staging, and create bold, energetic branding with the spectacle and photo moments a young, engaged crowd comes for. Everything is engineered for high footfall and constant hands-on use, with robust finishes and safe circulation between stations. We test the gaming stations and AV during pre-build before transport, and a technical standby team stays with you through the festival. We plan the interactive layout and crowd flow with you at the design stage.
Do you build exhibition stands in Abu Dhabi?
Yes. While we are a Dubai-based exhibition stand builder, we design and build across the Emirates, including at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi. We handle the full project start to finish — concept and 3D design, fabrication, ADNEC approval submissions, cross-emirate logistics, on-site installation and dismantling — as one accountable team. Abu Dhabi is roughly 90 minutes from our Dubai base, and ADNEC's requirements and approvals differ from a Dubai show, so we manage all of it for you. For a games brand at Middle East Games Con, that gives you a single, accountable team handling an interactive, high-energy Abu Dhabi build without you needing to find and coordinate a separate local contractor.
How much does a Middle East Games Con stand cost?
Custom Middle East Games Con stand design and build with SOL Dubai starts from AED 1,650 per square metre. The final figure is shaped by the number of interactive play stations, the scale of screens, LED and esports staging, feature spectacle, AV, the size of your space, cross-emirate logistics to Abu Dhabi and branding. A compact studio stand with a few play stations sits near the entry rate, while a major brand's stand with extensive interactive zones, esports staging and standout spectacle costs more. We provide a fixed, fully itemised quotation once we understand your games and objectives, with the Abu Dhabi logistics built in transparently.
How tall can my Middle East Games Con 2027 stand be, and do I need structural approval?
ADNEC treats anything over 4m, double-decker, or with a platform of 600mm or more as a complex structure needing engineer-stamped structural calculations and approval before build. We handle the full submission under ADNEC’s rules and the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code.
Who handles the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi permits and approvals?
We do, start to finish — ADNEC’s technical approval under the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code and OSHAD, with Civil Defence inspection handled on site. You don’t deal with the venue’s technical desk.
Can I get power and 24-hour supply for my stand?
Mains power is supplied through the venue’s appointed electrical contractor and ordered ahead. We design the lighting and power scheme and order it for you, including 24-hour supply where your stand needs it.
Can I hang a banner or lighting rig above my stand?
Yes, but suspended rigging is subject to venue approval and load limits and must be ordered ahead of tenancy. We design within the limits and file the rigging order on time so it’s approved without a last-minute surcharge.
How much does a Middle East Games Con 2027 stand cost?
A full-service Middle East Games Con 2027 stand starts from AED 950/sqm for a modular build, AED 1,650/sqm for a bespoke custom stand, and AED 2,400/sqm and up for large or double-decker builds. Every quote is fixed and all-inclusive with a free 3D concept.
When is Middle East Games Con 2027 and how early should I book?
Middle East Games Con 2027 returns in 2027 (exact dates to be confirmed). Because the best stand positions and production slots go early, we recommend starting 8–14 weeks ahead — earlier for a large or double-decker build.
What’s included in a full-service Middle East Games Con 2027 stand?
Everything to get you show-ready on one quote: custom 3D design, in-house fabrication and pre-build approval, full graphics, delivery to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, install and dismantle, ADNEC approvals and OSHAD paperwork, electrical and rigging ordered on your behalf, and a dedicated project manager.
Do you build double-decker stands at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi?
Yes — double-deckers are a specialism. A two-storey stand roughly adds 1.5 times your usable space with an upstairs lounge or meeting floor, and needs certified structural calculations, a displayed maximum-occupancy figure and code-compliant staircases (engineer-stamped calculations under the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code). We engineer, certify and build it in-house.
Do you provide on-site support during Middle East Games Con 2027?
Yes. Our team is on call across all show days for anything from a graphic touch-up to an electrical or AV fix, and larger stands get a dedicated on-site project lead.
What happens to the stand after Middle East Games Con 2027?
We dismantle and clear the space, and can store reusable elements for your next edition and refresh the graphics — so you’re not paying to rebuild from scratch each year.
