WETEX 2027 at a glance
WETEX — the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition — is organised annually by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and is the largest sustainability event of its kind in the region. It is co-located with the Dubai Solar Show and runs alongside the World Green Economy Summit. The 2026 edition ran from 20 to 22 October; WETEX 2027 is expected to follow the same September/October cadence at DWTC, with exact dates confirmed by DEWA closer to the event.
The show brings together roughly 3,000-plus exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors across water, energy, renewables, green building, sustainability and environmental technology. Exhibitors span utilities, government bodies, EPC contractors, solar and storage manufacturers, water-tech companies and sustainability consultancies from across the world.
For energy, water and clean-tech brands, WETEX is the regional platform to reach utility buyers, government decision-makers and project developers in one place. SOL Dubai designs and builds at DWTC and knows the venue and approval process for this show.
What a WETEX stand needs to convey
Sustainability is the language of WETEX, and your stand is part of the message. Buyers and government visitors notice when a stand built around clean energy looks wasteful, over-lit or disposable. Stands that use efficient LED lighting, reusable and recyclable structures and a clean, considered aesthetic carry more credibility in this audience than sheer scale alone.
Beyond the look, a WETEX stand has to make complex technical products understandable. Utilities and EPC buyers want to see how a transformer, panel, pump or storage system actually works and integrates. The strongest stands combine clear product demonstration with comfortable space for the longer, technical, project-led conversations this sector runs on.
Our WETEX stand build process
Every WETEX project runs through our disciplined eight-stage process so the build is predictable from brief to dismantling:
- Discovery and brief — we map your products, demonstration and power needs, meeting requirements and budget, and confirm hall, stand number and dimensions at DWTC.
- Concept and 3D design — photorealistic visuals and a floor plan balancing product demonstration, branding and meeting space.
- Costing and approval — a fixed, fully itemised quotation with no hidden extras.
- Venue approvals and technical drawings — structural, electrical and rigging submissions prepared for DWTC approval.
- Fabrication in our Dubai workshop — structure, joinery, product plinths and branding built and quality-checked in-house.
- Pre-build and QA — trial assembly, graphics fitting and electrical and AV testing before shipping.
- On-site installation — supervised build during official build-up, handed over show-ready.
- Show-day support and dismantling — standby team on call, then clean dismantling and clearance.
Materials and construction
We build WETEX stands with sustainability credibility in mind: reusable modular and custom structures rather than single-use builds where the brief allows, energy-efficient LED lighting throughout, and clean finishes that present technical product well. Timber-framed custom walls give a seamless branded surface, while laminates and solid-surface counters provide a durable, professional finish.
Heavy or powered product — panels, inverters, pumps, storage units — is mounted on engineered plinths with correctly rated power and cable management designed in. Raised platform flooring conceals services, tension-fabric and acrylic lightboxes carry branding cleanly, and the overall material palette is chosen to reinforce, not undercut, a sustainability message.
Energy and sustainability stand requirements
Energy and water exhibitors bring specific needs: reliable, correctly rated power for live equipment; sturdy mounting and load-bearing plinths for heavy hardware; clear technical display so complex systems are understandable; and space for the detailed, project-led discussions utilities and EPC buyers expect. Government and ministry visitors also value a credible, well-presented stand that reflects the seriousness of the sector.
We design for all of this — engineered mounting for heavy product, dedicated demonstration power, clear product staging and comfortable meeting areas — while keeping the build itself efficient and, where the brief calls for it, reusable across future editions to support both your budget and your sustainability story.
Stand options and pricing
We build every WETEX format. Upgraded shell-scheme packages suit smaller exhibitors who need clean branding, lighting and a product counter. Custom single-storey stands give you a bespoke layout with product plinths, demonstration areas and meeting space. Double-decker stands let major utilities, manufacturers and pavilions add an upstairs meeting or hospitality floor above an open product showcase.
Custom WETEX stand design and build starts from AED 1,650 per square metre, with the final figure shaped by size, structure, the weight and power needs of your product, AV and branding. Every quotation is fixed and itemised, and full-service delivery gives you one accountable team from concept through dismantling — with reusable build options available to support your sustainability and budget goals.
Why energy brands choose SOL Dubai for WETEX
We are a Dubai exhibition stand builder with our own design studio and UAE workshop, building at DWTC across major editions including WETEX. We understand the venue, the DEWA-organised show's approval process and the practical demands of staging heavy, powered energy and water product safely and credibly.
Clients get in-house build quality, a single accountable team and a price that holds from quotation to final invoice. For energy, water and clean-tech brands that want a stand reflecting their sustainability message as much as their products, our local presence and full-service control keep the project on track.
