World Future Energy Summit 2027 at a glance

The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) takes place from 12 to 14 January 2027 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Hosted by Masdar, WFES is the anchor event of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, and is the region's leading platform for clean energy, sustainability and climate technology. The 2027 edition is expected to draw more than 50,000 attendees, 450-plus exhibitors and 300-plus speakers.

WFES spans clean energy, solar, water, the circular economy, smart cities, e-mobility, AI in energy and green finance, bringing together heads of state, policymakers, utilities, investors, developers and technology companies. As the headline of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, it attracts a uniquely senior, decision-making audience focused on real projects and investment.

WFES is in Abu Dhabi, not Dubai — a distinction that matters for logistics and venue approvals. SOL Dubai is a UAE exhibition stand builder that designs and builds at ADNEC Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai venues, so a single team handles your stand wherever in the Emirates you are exhibiting.

What a WFES stand needs to convey

WFES draws a senior, sustainability-focused audience, and your stand is part of your environmental message. A clean-energy brand on a wasteful, over-lit or disposable-looking stand sends the wrong signal to exactly the investors, ministers and utility leaders it most wants to impress. Efficient lighting, reusable structures and a considered, credible aesthetic carry weight with this audience.

Because WFES is as much about investment and policy as products, meeting and hospitality space is often more important here than at a pure trade show. The strongest WFES stands combine a clear, credible technology showcase with comfortable, semi-private space for the high-level investor, government and partnership conversations the summit exists to enable.

Our WFES stand build process

Every WFES project runs through our disciplined eight-stage process, coordinated for an Abu Dhabi build at ADNEC:

  1. Discovery and brief — we map your products, demonstration needs, meeting and hospitality requirements and budget, and confirm hall, stand number and dimensions at ADNEC Abu Dhabi.
  2. Concept and 3D design — photorealistic visuals and a floor plan balancing technology showcase with senior-level meeting and hospitality space.
  3. Costing and approval — a fixed, fully itemised quotation with no hidden extras.
  4. Venue approvals and technical drawings — structural, electrical and rigging submissions prepared for ADNEC Abu Dhabi approval.
  5. Fabrication in our Dubai workshop — structure, joinery, product staging and branding built and quality-checked in-house.
  6. Pre-build and QA — trial assembly, graphics fitting and electrical and AV testing before transport to Abu Dhabi.
  7. On-site installation — supervised build at ADNEC during official build-up, handed over show-ready.
  8. Show-day support and dismantling — standby team on call, then clean dismantling and clearance.

Materials and construction

We build WFES stands with sustainability credibility front of mind: reusable modular and custom structures where the brief allows, energy-efficient LED lighting throughout, and a clean, considered material palette that reinforces an environmental message rather than undercutting it. Timber-framed custom walls give a seamless branded surface, with laminates and solid-surface counters for a durable professional finish.

Technology and product is staged on engineered plinths with proper power and cable management, while tension-fabric and acrylic lightboxes carry branding cleanly. For the senior meeting and hospitality space WFES demands, we build comfortable, semi-private rooms and lounges with quality finishes and acoustic separation, raised on platform flooring that conceals services.

Sustainability and clean-energy stand requirements

WFES exhibitors carry a particular blend of needs: a credible, sustainability-aligned aesthetic; clear technology and product display; and — because the summit is investment- and policy-driven — substantial, senior-level meeting and hospitality space. Many exhibitors are there primarily to host high-value conversations rather than to sell off the shelf.

We design for that balance — an open, credible technology showcase paired with comfortable private meeting rooms and hospitality areas — while keeping the build efficient and, where the brief calls for it, reusable across future editions. We also manage the ADNEC Abu Dhabi approval and logistics, which differ from Dubai venues, so your Abu Dhabi build runs as smoothly as a Dubai one.

Stand options and pricing

We build every WFES format. Upgraded shell-scheme packages suit smaller exhibitors needing clean branding, lighting and a meeting point. Custom single-storey stands give you a bespoke layout with technology display, demonstration areas and senior meeting space. Double-decker stands let major brands, government entities and pavilions add an upstairs hospitality or briefing floor above an open ground-floor showcase — valuable at an event built around high-level conversation.

Custom WFES stand design and build starts from AED 1,650 per square metre, with the final figure shaped by size, structure, the amount of meeting and hospitality space, AV and branding. Every quotation is fixed and itemised, and full-service delivery gives you one accountable team handling design, build and the Abu Dhabi logistics from concept through dismantling.

Why clean-energy brands choose SOL Dubai for WFES

We are a UAE exhibition stand builder with our own design studio and workshop, building at ADNEC Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai venues. That means a single team handles your WFES stand start to finish — design, in-house fabrication, the ADNEC approval process and Abu Dhabi logistics — rather than you coordinating a separate Abu Dhabi contractor.

Clients get in-house build quality, a single accountable team, sustainability-aligned reusable build options, and a price that holds from quotation to final invoice. For clean-energy and sustainability brands meeting investors, ministers and utilities at the anchor event of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, that combination keeps a high-stakes stand on message and on budget.

Building at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi: the rules that shape your World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) stand

World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) is held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi in Abu Dhabi, and ADNEC runs its own technical framework — the Abu Dhabi Municipality Code of Construction Safety Practice and OSHAD — separate from Dubai’s. Materials and approvals that pass at DWTC aren’t automatically valid here, so we design and certify to ADNEC’s rules from the first sketch.

Approval framework

Stands must comply with ADNEC’s Rules & Regulations, the Abu Dhabi Municipality construction-safety code and OSHAD. We prepare the drawings and obtain the approvals before build-up.

Complex structures

ADNEC treats anything over 4m, double-decker, or with a platform of 600mm or more — or any non-standard design — as a complex structure needing engineer-stamped structural calculations and approval before build.

Double-deckers

A two-storey stand needs certified structural calculations, a displayed maximum-occupancy figure, a health-and-safety plan and code-compliant staircases. ADNEC’s main halls run to around 18m clear, so tall feature builds are possible with the right sign-off.

Fire-rated materials

All materials must be fire-rated to UAE standards, and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence inspects on site. We certify materials and complete finishes in our workshop, so the on-site crew assembles rather than fabricates.

Electrical, rigging & loads

Rigging and hanging loads, floor-load capacities and electrical supply are all controlled and ordered through ADNEC’s systems ahead of tenancy. We design within the limits and order it for you.

Contractor registration

ADNEC has its own contractor-registration system, separate from DWTC, and PPE is mandatory. We carry the accreditation and handle the registration.

Deadlines

Structural, electrical and rigging submissions run weeks ahead of build-up and late orders are surcharged. We lock your window and order venue services at the advance rate.

01

ADNEC is its own framework

Materials and approvals that pass at DWTC aren’t automatically valid at ADNEC, so we re-certify to the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code and OSHAD rather than assuming a Dubai stand will clear as-is.

02

Know what counts as complex

ADNEC treats anything over 4m, double-decker, or with a platform of 600mm or more as complex, needing engineer-stamped calculations before build. We flag it at design stage so the structural file is ready, not a surprise.

03

Civil Defence inspects on site

Abu Dhabi Civil Defence inspects during build-up, so we complete and inspect finishes in our workshop and the on-site crew assembles an approved build.

04

Use the height — with sign-off

ADNEC’s main halls run to around 18m clear, so tall feature builds and double-deckers are possible. We design them in from the first sketch with the structural sign-off built into the timeline.

Common mistakes, in order of frequency

  1. An oversized logo on the back wall that crowds out the one-line proposition a buyer reads in three seconds.
  2. The same graphic on the front and side panels of an inline stand — the aisle-facing side panel is your most wasted surface.
  3. A counter or sign at the very front that blocks the sightline into the stand and stops buyers stepping in.
  4. Under-ordering power — no 24-hour supply for fridges, screens or live demos, so the stand isn’t ready on opening morning.
  5. Leaving structural, rigging and electrical orders until after the venue deadlines and paying avoidable surcharges.

World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) stand questions, answered

Real answers with real numbers — including the venue’s build rules. Click any question to expand.

When and where is the World Future Energy Summit 2027?
The World Future Energy Summit (WFES) 2027 takes place from 12 to 14 January 2027 at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi. Hosted by Masdar, it is the anchor event of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and the region's leading platform for clean energy, sustainability and climate technology, expected to draw more than 50,000 attendees, 450-plus exhibitors and 300-plus speakers. It is important to note that WFES is in Abu Dhabi, not Dubai — the venue, approval process and build-up logistics differ from Dubai shows. SOL Dubai builds at ADNEC Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai venues, so one team handles your stand wherever in the UAE you are exhibiting.
Do you build stands in Abu Dhabi as well as Dubai?
Yes. While we are a Dubai-based exhibition stand builder, we design and build across the UAE, including at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi where the World Future Energy Summit is held. Our design studio and fabrication workshop serve both emirates, so a single accountable team handles your WFES stand start to finish — concept and 3D design, in-house build, the ADNEC approval submissions, transport to Abu Dhabi and on-site installation. You avoid the common headache of appointing and coordinating a separate Abu Dhabi contractor. We understand that ADNEC's venue requirements and logistics differ from Dubai's, and we manage those differences for you so the build runs just as smoothly.
How much does a WFES stand cost?
Custom World Future Energy Summit stand design and build with SOL Dubai starts from AED 1,650 per square metre. Because WFES is an investment- and policy-driven event, many exhibitors prioritise meeting and hospitality space, which along with the size of your stand, single-storey or double-decker structure, AV and branding shapes the final figure. We provide a fixed, fully itemised quotation once we understand your objectives. Because we design and build in-house and manage the Abu Dhabi logistics ourselves, the figure you approve is the figure you pay, with no hidden mark-ups for the cross-emirate build. Reusable build options are available to support both your budget and your sustainability message.
Can you build sustainable, reusable stands for WFES?
Yes, and at the anchor event of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week it often makes real sense. Where the brief allows, we build with reusable modular and custom structures, use energy-efficient LED lighting throughout, and choose a clean, considered material palette that reinforces your environmental message rather than undercutting it. A reusable build can be re-skinned and reconfigured for future WFES editions or other shows, supporting both your budget and the sustainability story your brand is at WFES to tell. We will advise honestly on where reusable construction genuinely helps and where a fully custom build better serves your objectives, so the choice is informed rather than assumed.
How tall can my World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) stand be, and do I need structural approval?
ADNEC treats anything over 4m, double-decker, or with a platform of 600mm or more as a complex structure needing engineer-stamped structural calculations and approval before build. We handle the full submission under ADNEC’s rules and the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code.
Who handles the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi permits and approvals?
We do, start to finish — ADNEC’s technical approval under the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code and OSHAD, with Civil Defence inspection handled on site. You don’t deal with the venue’s technical desk.
Can I get power and 24-hour supply for my stand?
Mains power is supplied through the venue’s appointed electrical contractor and ordered ahead. We design the lighting and power scheme and order it for you, including 24-hour supply where your stand needs it.
Can I hang a banner or lighting rig above my stand?
Yes, but suspended rigging is subject to venue approval and load limits and must be ordered ahead of tenancy. We design within the limits and file the rigging order on time so it’s approved without a last-minute surcharge.
How much does a World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) stand cost?
A full-service World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) stand starts from AED 950/sqm for a modular build, AED 1,650/sqm for a bespoke custom stand, and AED 2,400/sqm and up for large or double-decker builds. Every quote is fixed and all-inclusive with a free 3D concept.
When is World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) and how early should I book?
World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) runs 12–14 Jan 2027. Because the best stand positions and production slots go early, we recommend starting 8–14 weeks ahead — earlier for a large or double-decker build.
What’s included in a full-service World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES) stand?
Everything to get you show-ready on one quote: custom 3D design, in-house fabrication and pre-build approval, full graphics, delivery to ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, install and dismantle, ADNEC approvals and OSHAD paperwork, electrical and rigging ordered on your behalf, and a dedicated project manager.
Do you build double-decker stands at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi?
Yes — double-deckers are a specialism. A two-storey stand roughly adds 1.5 times your usable space with an upstairs lounge or meeting floor, and needs certified structural calculations, a displayed maximum-occupancy figure and code-compliant staircases (engineer-stamped calculations under the Abu Dhabi construction-safety code). We engineer, certify and build it in-house.
Do you provide on-site support during World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES)?
Yes. Our team is on call across all show days for anything from a graphic touch-up to an electrical or AV fix, and larger stands get a dedicated on-site project lead.
What happens to the stand after World Future Energy Summit 2027 (WFES)?
We dismantle and clear the space, and can store reusable elements for your next edition and refresh the graphics — so you’re not paying to rebuild from scratch each year.
